Student Flute
Made in Elkhart, Indiana c.1970
Nickel Plated, Closed Hole, C Foot
Overhauled
with New Case, Stick and Cloth
Offered is a Bundy nickel plated student flute made c.1970. It's closed hole and has a C foot. These quality flutes were made in Elkhart, Indiana during the heyday of band instrument manufacture in the USA. American made instruments were built to last and last.
This lovely flute shows some minor scuffs and scratches and some fading to the finish, but mechanically still in excellent condition. A small ding under the rib is hidden and has no effect on playability. We just overhauled this flute with double skin treated pads which will last many years to come, all new corks and felts.
The tone is bright and responsive making it the perfect match for a beginner. Plays in tune at A=440 and can play slightly higher with the head pushed in.
We furnished a new hard shell case, a new cleaning stick and a satin cloth. Everything for the beginner or young flute player. Avoid the problems of cheap Asian made instruments. American made flutes can last forever.
Excellent deal for a student flute.
