Fostex 8 Track tape machine. Uses 1/4" tape and RCA connections. Can record up to 4 tracks simultaneously and has direct outs for all 8. The A8 was a 2 head deck, so monitoring off the tape while recording is not possible, and it's a 15 IPS deck only. I've tested the machine and found all channels record and play back - rewind, fast forward and RTZ functions working, pitch control knob working, counter reset works, all arm and monitor buttons working. No cosmetic flaws as the unit is in great condition!
I'm happy to send a video where I demonstrate the basic functions are all working. Sold as-is due to the age and nature of this kind of item.
