Been a long while since I added/updated for my long-running "1969" series. I developed this design style back around 2016, at the time I had two goals in mind:

1. Create a new guitar strap featuring the old school vibes of hippy-style hootenanny ribbon

2. Make it decadently COMFORTABLE, not a cheap, simple 2" wide shoulder-pounder ACE knockoff.

Various experiments eventually blew up into one of my more successful design "hits!" So, for each new and different short run I build of these, I've been naming 'em after top 100 hit songs from the year 1969. This one is for "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye that charted as high as #88 in 1969

The ribbon is that throwback psychedelic 60's sort of pattern, in this case originally in black and white. I saw fit to dye the ribbon with purple leather, this is the result. A softer purple, not intense or saturated which I was kind of hoping for... but due to the polyester nature of the ribbon it turned out into more a lilac purple effect. I believe this strap would compliment all kinds of purple guitars though, because the good amount of black in the pattern and black leather on each side really anchors it.

Main body of this strap is conditioned black garment leather, nose 'n tail sections thicker black leather, leather-reinforced to be strong. Adjusts 40"-56" which allows you about 8 inches more than the typical store-bought ladderback. Velvety black non-slip lining lays against you and treats you nice, and stops neck dive right in it's tracks.

If you're a starter pack strap kind of guy, you likely won't get it. But I personally believe a 2" wide skinny unpadded strap is not deserving of my treasured Well-Hung customer tribe, who tend to be working pros, and/or gear "seekers" demanding the best available. But, if you happen to crave gear more useful, innovative and a bit off-the-beaten path, perhaps something folks in your circle will feel compelled to ask about... this is REALLY going to be your jam.

Typically a soft garment leather base that lays 3 luxurious inches wide on the shoulder, in ladder style for adjustment. Down the base center, I securely stitch this old-school ribbon, and it always seems to look wonderful against the leather, no matter what design. The leather totally boosts that historic vibe, so it's even a bit better than just ribbon alone I think. The main body edges of my straps are rolled over then stitched, not just chopped-off, to cancel bite 'n scrape on your neck. Also, the Well-Hung brand is known for decadently padded-out main body that'll make you go "Ahhh!!!" soon as you throw it on. It all results in a premium design with high end looks, unbeatable comfort and trusty strength. Very different, real easy to get used to. Won't take twenty seconds under it to realize the extra value it'll bring to your guitar life journey. New users often find their favourite instruments fighting over which gets to wear it, forcing them to buy another. Don't say I didn't warn you LOL!

I MAKE POSSIBLY THE WORLD'S MOST COMFORTABLE GUITAR STRAP. Bold claim I know. Those who are truly Well-Hung (most customers repeat), won't often disagree. It's mostly due to the my 3" wide footprint distributing weight, so it don't beat down hard on your pressure points. Then, the built-in approx. 20" of carefully carved and layered foam padding takes my straps into an other-worldy level of comfy. Just fantastic when bearing heavier guitars, lighter ones too. A big bonus is, my straps do NOT look all michelin-man poofy, orthopedic medical devicey, or a dumb wookie ammo belt harness get-up like other comfort straps seem to often resemble. And, no stanky finish-corroding neoprene-like substances either. In short, A Well-Hung Guitar Strap looks right, feels right, is right.

My straps are handmade by me, I am not a factory or a robot, I am a guitar-playing brother, so I get it. It's a walmart pie v.s. grandma pie thing. Craft, love and quality ingredients are involved in the makings here, and I personally hand-build EVERY SINGLE ONE. This is a long-lasting strap you'll treasure. Long, strong, sexy, and different from other straps you've worn. Well-Hung customers tend to repeat, my work has earned me over 1,285 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 5-star reviews ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Please recon my feedback for my level of care /quality and how I treat customers. They say it best. I look forward to you joining the Cult of the Well-Hung Guitar real soon. I'm also inclined to often put extra stuffs in my package, makes a lotta customers extra happy. Please Note if you wish to make me an offer, go right ahead... I may accept, but in that case.... NO SWAG FOR YOU!

Please, when you leave feedback for me, I'll take as many stars as you can give, but PLEASE SAY A FEW WORDS so others get an idea of the Well-Hung out-of-box experience. It's extremely important for my survival against yuge multinational conglomerates who'd likely would rub me out if they got the chance. But if they did, they couldn't continue to borrow all the innovative ideas I come up with. Instead they keep me around. Also... go find, like and follow and share Well-Hung on the facebook. Prollywanna to make sure you get the "Well-Hung Guitar Straps page, not that other one that sounds similar, (not that there's anything wrong with that). Follow there, you'll see the cool stuff I'm building in the StrapLab even before it hits the store!

Thanks for looking message me if you have any questions. Custom work is available time permitting.

My 'merican brothers, your shipping cost is now higher. I've struggled for months on how to re-open my store for your market. Only way is add the new US-imposed duty to your shipping, plus a small fee to facilitate my pre-payment of it via the Zonos app. Otherwise, I cannot ship. Here's how it works: I can't ship 'til all duties get pre-paid to your government. I've added the extra cost to USA shipping to cover your duty in advance. It’s the only way I can ship. Once I ship, Reverb pays me back. There's NO extra profit for me here, only a carefully-calculated expense (and quite a bit more back end work!). Your top dude chose tariffs & duty as a sort of import tax, so they’re on you. I've made NO price increases on my goods or shipping for any other market, so fair value remains. My sincere hope is no surprises. Zonos estimates duty costs, so there *may* be small discrepancies, but they assure shippers it’s rare. If your landed cost ends up over $10 US more than what you paid, and you paid FULL asking price (not an offer), please contact me with details and receipts. Please know this duty situation is as frustrating for me as it may be for you and I thank you for understanding. Above all, I just want to make sure your guitars are Well-Hung! Not here to quibble, prices for shipping + tariffs are rounded up or down to the nearest dollar. Questions regarding the new W-H store policy for USA shipping? Message me prior to purchase.
