Absolutely beautiful vintage BBC LL/76 transformer pair built into a metal enclosure. These were used by the BBC and a whole bunch of British audio manufacturers back in the 70’s - they’re kinda the sound of British mixing consoles from back then - and boy do they sound lush! You may not be able to hear their subtleties too well on the compressed youtube vid - but even at 0db the whole mix comes to life - and every element has its’ space and sounds richer and fuller. You can’t really hear the saturation until 9 or 12 db are pushed into them - but you can see on the multicoloured picture that even though the audio looks less loud - there’s no audible volume drop. That’s not what you should get them for however - it’s the sound. If you run either a whole mix - or especially render all your mix parts through these chaps - it’ll put some beauty and shine on your productions. Sonically speaking - possibly my fave transformers. Balanced inputs and outputs. Put some analog loveliness in your mix / master chain!!
