SOLO GEMINI
60s Italian Guitar Crafted by Bartolini, Cingolani
VERY NEAR MINT!
100 % original except the jack socket plate
Guitars inspired by the classic Gibson ES 335, but only at first glance, the headstock is a typical Gibson 5-piece while the neck is already three-piece maple
The body is hollow without a center block, but it is well constructed and has perfectly preserved its lines. The body is bolted onto the neck, but it has a chamfered body slot, a truly unique feature.
The electrical part is truly amazing! It has 3 single coils sealed with a transparent "resin"? See photo, all the pick-ups with values near 10 kOhm!, all with typical Italian wide-track LESA potentiometers and tone capacitors BIG AS BEAN! Obviously typical...
So with 3 volumes, 3 tones, and all the output you have... you can equalize the sound and even use only 30 percent or less of the volume and tone for a super clean sound.
the mobile bridge does not have the original lever, I have a Bigsby lever... but I do not have adapted it, I don't use it.
The first frets especially have been played a lot, but the guitar is still quite strong and allows for a low action.
Whoever owned this guitar treated it very well and played it with a super light touch
Completely cleaned guitar with specific products and polished frets, new D'addario Nickel Wound 0.9,42 strings, the tod truss is perfect, soft and progressive, it looks like a luthier's guitar. It's included an old gigbag.
