Selling this Yamaha Beech Custom Absolute 14X7 snare drum made in Japan.
7-ply beech, 2.3mm Dyna Hoops, Q-type strainer/butt plate, original Yamaha 20-strand snare wires. Comes with Vintage Ambassador Coated on top, and Ambassador Hazy on bottom. Shell has no visible blemishes, hardware is clean and functioning. Little rust spots on the badge (see picture #7)
Yamaha are no longer offering beech since 2007, are no longer made in Japan since 2012 (except for the PHX line) and have no wood snare in the 14X7 size offered in their current catalogue.
