New, custom made reproducer head for an Ampex ATR-800. This was fapricated by JRF Magnetic Sciences in the USA. I have the original 2002 invoice from JRF Magnetic Sciences itemizing "1 Custom ATR800 3tk w/Ampex 300 type playback head installed". 3 track systems were common in the 1950's. While this head has been combined with an ATR base, it could be reverted to fit a 300 or maybe other 3 track reel to reel units.
