I am very proud to bring to market this Telefunken M410 O  a rare, vintage German broadcast dynamic microphone that I managed to carefully rebuild to original spec.

omni dynamic design for broadcast and studio use, The M410 was a serious professional tool in the 1960 owned by few. engineered with high mass, precision mechanics, and a balanced full-range response that captures sound evenly and honestly.

This is a fully refurbished and carefully tuned example, ready for real studio use.

BUILD & DESIGN

Heavy cylindrical chrome/silver body with substantial mass and presence.
This microphone is significantly heavier than most modern dynamics and reflects the serious broadcast construction of its era.

Large Tuchel termination (adapter included).
With the supplied gooseneck, it integrates seamlessly into modern XLR setups without requiring a proprietary holder.

Capsule

Moving-coil dynamic, omnidirectional configuration.

The “O” designation denotes true omni operation — offering:

  • Even pickup from all directions
  • Natural room capture
  • Minimal proximity effect
  • Balanced tonal response regardless of distance

The rebuilt capsule maintains proper mechanical geometry and acoustic behavior consistent with original design intent.

It captures space honestly while But with lots its own added character . such omni design are extremely sensitive to any kind of near field acoustic obstacles and reflections. even holding it in your hand can dramatically effect sound because of acoustic shadow registered from the hand. this is another reason why using a gooseneck connector without any holder on the microphones body leaves it even more true and open.
