Jupiter DiMedici FL-1011R 2003 - Silver

Jupiter DiMedici JFL-1011R, serial #C001839. This is the 1011 series — the top of the DiMedici line — with solid .925 sterling silver headjoint, body, and B footjoint. Not plated. Hand-cut Altus D1 sterling silver headjoint, open hole (French model), French pointed key arms, split E mechanism, white gold springs, offset G. Bennett scale, A=442.

Purchased new in 2003. Played for approximately three years, then stored in original French-style case in a climate-controlled room. Taken out periodically to polish and play. Cosmetically in excellent condition — no dents, no dings, no worn plating (because there is no plating to wear).

Honest disclosure: due to age alone, this flute will most likely need a pad service before it plays to its full potential. The mechanism, body, and headjoint are all in excellent shape. The price reflects the pad situation — you're getting a solid silver professional flute at well below market value for this model.

For reference, the DiMedici line has been discontinued by Jupiter (replaced by the Azumi by Altus series). The closest current equivalent — the Azumi AZ3 with solid silver body — retails new for over $3,800 USD.
