YAMAHA SA-50 VINTAGE HOLLOW BODY SEMI ACOUSTIC w/OHSC

Yamaha's original hollow body introduced circa 1967. And they didn't compromise...

Yamaha build quality has always been pretty exceptional. The attention to materials, design and detail especially at the period when these were produced was second to none.

Condition-wise...

Body, neck and bindings are very clean.

Original tuners, bridge and tailpiece. The individual saddle adjusters are largely non-functional but since the overall height adjusters on the bridge do an excellent job, this has little to no impact on playability. The pick guard is absent.

Indeed, the action is currently set very comfortably low and fast following a recent pro set up. No choke or stutter. Fingerboard and frets are in good shape, inlays are clean, strings are brand new. Electrics are also in very good shape.

Overall...

A very cool golden era semi acoustic with a seriously high Yamaha build quality. This is in good cosmetic condition for 55 year-old.

Comes complete with original case.

Best of all it plays beautifully and sounds great!

The Japan post office service (EMS) is reliable and efficient but shipping costs from Japan to Europe or the states are unavoidably expensive.
