Here's a fine example of the prime era of Japanese Gibson ripping off. This is top notch lawsuit era. Fernandes, who produced the legendary Greco and Burnt guitars, was taking Gibson specs to a Tee. I had a 1972 SG Standard for a while, and found it freakishly similar to this guitar, both in physical construction and in pickup sound/output.
Maple top, mahogany body. mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard. All Gibson'd up. Frets have some life to continue to be crowned still. Tuners hold well and are smooth. Electronics function properly, and the pickups sound f'kin great. Neck is round and balanced, bridge has that Rippin Rockin bite!
This bad boy is in fine cosmetic shape. Check pictures to be sure, but nothing major on it. And it has one of the coolest/funniest headstock designs ever. To quote "Our purpose is that we, Fernandes Electric Sound Research Group express the musicians' mind changed into sound exactly. To researching the total-balance that our instruments have to be."
Officially, the model designation is FSG-65. Comes with a decent, very non original, hardshell case. Will be packaged very safely and carefully. I have proper boxes, proper shipping materials.
Please ask any questions, and thanks much!
