Same as a Type One, but with a XVive MN3007 BBD, allowing approximately around 5dB more clean headroom through the pedal when used at 18V, so it is more at home with line level devices and active basses as well as guitars.

Two and a half years of R&D have gone into this pedal design.  The original brief was to capture the ethereal spirit of the Boss CE-1 in a slimmed down, modern package, but to keep its wide frequency bandwidth and its characterful, idiosyncratic tone colour.  This is the result.  

The TYPE ONE has an entirely analogue signal path, but the switching and control of the signal is digital.  This blend allows for a high clean headroom (strummed basses and synths... hello), and a quiet, low noise floor.  

The two output sockets can feed a pair of amps (one wet, one dry) and so recreating the Roland JC120 'acoustic chorus' effect, or like the CE-1 in stereo.  Plugging in just the Mono / L jack mixes the dry and wet, giving you the same effect through one amp.

The footswitch can be set to either a latching or momentary function.

All components have been hand chosen and are high grade, branded, traceable, RoHS compliant, and of a robust, pro-audio standard.  

All Horrothia FX are dreamt of, designed and manufactured by hand in the UK in small batches by Tom Oakes.
