GUYATONE LG-130T - MIJ VINTAGE 1960S OFFSET ***CLEARANCE***

Very cool vintage 60s offset Japanese model produced for a short period in the mid-60s.

This model was introduced somewhere around 1965 and it's becoming increasingly rare to find all-original and clean examples of this early Guyatone.

In this case, tremolo, tuners, pickups, bridge cover and head logo are all present and correct.

Condition-wise...

Body and neck are in good condition for the year.

Some typical 'bruised pear' stains under the neck lacquer (cannot be felt) plus some digs and grazes to the head and body edges.

But overall, it's pretty well preserved for a mid-60s guitar. The back is especially clean and shows almost no sign of buckle rash.

The neck plays well though there is some fret wear. (See photos). The original open gear tuners are all smoothly functioning and the original electrics all work fine.

The original chrome tremolo unit is in nice condition too and is in perfect working order.

As with so many Guyatones from this era the best part is the pickups.

On this model the wide tonal variety from the 3 single coils puts out some seriously distinctive vintage tones. 'Kind of Bespoke Garage!' as a pro guitarist friend describes it.
