Serial: 1289715, made in 2008, this is a rare one in Sunburst finish.

As the name suggests, the D-18 Authentic 1937 is a faithful reproduction of the pre-war 1937 design.

Adirondack spruce is used for the top and bracing, while the back and sides are made of genuine mahogany. Mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Butterbean Waverly pegs, Madagascar rosewood veneer, dotted fingerboard positions, painted Del Mar pickguard, tortoiseshell binding, steel T-bar rod, nickel glue, 1937style The Authentic Series features vintage-like specifications such as forward-shifted scalloped bracing.

The neck is tapered to a thicker and stiffer neck shape with a gripping and reassuring feel. The neck is thicker and tapers gradually toward the joint, giving you the feel of a vintage guitar.
