Here’s a really unique and great sounding Frankenbass 🧌with a Silvertone neck on a Kay Vanguard body. The body has a great old train print that was put on the back long ago. Ridiculous mojo with this bass. The pickup is a 70s Univox HI-Flyer bass pickup that comes in at a little over 10k and sounds awesome. New Bridge and tailpiece. Homemade lacquered leather on wood control cover. Pickup and bridge surround made of lacquered faux black alligator 🐊 fabric. These Silvertone bass necks have no truss rod, just a piece of metal running the length of the neck. It’s got a 30” scale length with stock metal nut. The neck plays great and there is plenty of fret life left. The little tuners can be hard to turn because they are so small but a plastic string winder does the trick. Scrapes, and dings as shown. Comes with a nice Gator gig bag 💼 So make an offer on this unique great sound bass and enjoy👨🏻🍳.
