An 8-track sequencer and AWM tone generator squeezed into a compact body roughly the same size as a VHS video cassette.
The panel surface featured buttons in place of a keyboard, and was equipped with a style sequencer that provided backing styles in a range of genres when users enter chord names such as C or Dm.
Its ability to run on battery power gained it prominence as a "palm-top studio" that people can use to compose songs anywhere they choose.
