The SQ-1 is Ensoniq’s late-80s to early-90s “Personal Music Studio”, an all-in-one keyboard built around a fast, hands-on front panel. It's surprisingly sleek for an older unit and integrates easily into modern setups via standard MIDI. It suits players who want immediate presets that are easy to shape and arrange.
It features a 61-key keyboard with pitch and modulation wheels, clearly labelled panel sections for synthesis, drums, sequencing, and effects, and rear connections including MIDI In, Out and Thru, footswitch, memory card slot, stereo outputs, and headphones out.
120V Volt unit - Requires step-down converter for use in Australia. Upgraded with new RAM battery fitted prior to sale.
