The Made in Japan Limited Stratocaster® Blue Flower features a gloss-finished alder body adorned with Blue Flower sheeting. It includes a 1969 "U"-shaped maple neck with a vintage-style 7.25-inch radius and 21 frets, faithfully recreating the classic playing feel of that era. The outer edge's blue burst has been re-colorized for a deeper vintage appearance.

Influenced by the "Summer of Love" and "Flower Power" movements of 1967, which had a significant impact on fashion around the world, Fender introduced the "Blue Flower" and "Paisley Telecaster®" models. These guitars, with their bold patterned finishes covering the entire body, had a look unlike anything seen before. They quickly gained popularity, especially among rockabilly and country-western players. Though production was later discontinued, these models have been reissued multiple times over the years. Now, Fender is reviving these iconic instruments—highly regarded in the brand's history—as limited edition models for 2025, crafted with Made in Japan quality.
