The Akai Maschine MK1 is an original music production controller that integrates hardware and software for sampling, sequencing, and song arrangement. It features 16 velocity-sensitive pads, 8 rotary encoders, two LCD screens, and a set of buttons for transport, editing, and mixing. The MK1 can be used with the included software or as a MIDI controller for other DAWs and external gear. 

16 velocity-sensitive pads: Organized into eight groups, these pads are used for playing drums, instruments, and triggering samples.

• Dual LCD screens: These displays provide visual feedback for navigating the software, browsing sounds, and editing.
• 8 rotary knobs: These encoders are dedicated to controlling parameters for mixing, effects, and other software functions.

• Software integration: The controller is designed to work seamlessly with the powerful Native Instruments Maschine software, which includes a sampler, drum synths, and a library of sounds.
