Western Electric Precision Electronics Tube mixer w/IP transformers

Vintage Premier Electronics Tube mixer with 4 input transformers. Rare model sometimes referred to as the Frazer. The power tubes are 6GT5 giving it a unique and quite amazing sound unlike any other I have heard for electric guitars. Because it is balanced in, a passive Di or line to mic adaptor must be used for guitars. The preamp section tubes are three 6EU7 one 6C4 all glass vacuum tubes which would put it in the later 50s. These input transformers (only on the Frazer to my knowledge) were made to Western Electric specs and were a sub contract (like Grommes) for Western electric. One of the 4 transformers has been replaced. Could easily be converted to 4 useful pres: one with high volume and eq running to the master out pot and 3 others tapped off the output trims on front panel for mics on amps or drums. The power section could be fitted with a switch when not in use. This is a great project for an engineer with a knowledge of tube electronics for use as a front end for studio productions. As a PA the sound is raw and for the moment distorted, a recap would be required for PA use, but the sound for electric guitar over the top grunge is so amazing that one might want to leave it as is. The Three plug in type input transformers labeled TL-1A 29 72 .60 alone are surely worth the asking price, and are easily useful for any other project as the fit in a standard power tube socket. The other is black; TM-200, a Bogen input transformer. This unit is working and in great shape. As I have said this model is extremely rare. I have more projects and gear than I need.
