Well-Hung "In The Pocket" 3" wide ultra-padded leather comfort guitar strap

"In the Pocket" is a strap I've made only a couple times before over the years. It's a throwback to the days when I first started, upcycling old leather jackets I found into cool straps. One day I got the idea to incorporate a zipper pocket up front from one of the jackets, and "In The Pocket" was born. This piece was laid this piece aside years ago, and just today I completed it for a change of pace in the shop.

This super badass strap, goes super badass long, starts at around 45" goes all the way to 60"

NOTE: if you find most store straps are plenty long enough for you, "In The Pocket" might hang a bit long on you. But, if you have a penchant for expressive rock star moves, throwin' cool shapes and all that, a long strap is essential. I only use the very best leather jackets for this one, meatier moto cowhide stuff, and of course you need a nice heavy-duty metal zipper too. Truth to tell, you're not gonna be able to jam a lot inside there, but a slide fits nice, could def add some picks, maybe a little rolled up something/something, and probably a good idea to stow a round of PPE in there, just in case, wink-wink, nudge-nudge. But that's about it. The zipper is lubed to run smooth, the leather is conditioned to look and feel black and beautiful.

For the nose and tail/ladder bits, even heavier black leather here. Good stuff that may outlast most guitars you put this on! In my opinion, real good leather nose & tail serves to give a strap long life and a higher level of guitar security, something I refuse to compromise on. You'll most likely not require strap locks or beer washers to keep this on your instrument. There's also black velvety upholstery cloth for lining, and it's gonna slam the brakes on even the most serious neck-diving guitar dead in it's tracks.

Stitched with quality upholstery thread, inside this strap are built in several carved layers of foam that compresses perfectly under guitar weight, making Well-Hung guitar straps probably the most luxurious not just on Earth, but I suspect in the entire multiverse.
