This Taylor 356ce is a masterfully crafted Grand Symphony 12-string model from the 300 series, made in El Cajon, California, USA. Taylor's 300 series combines selected solid tonewoods of the highest quality with high-quality hardware and exceptional craftsmanship, creating some of the most beautiful acoustic guitars on the market.
The Taylor 356ce has everything you could want in a large 12-string acoustic guitar: a voluminous body shape (comparable to a jumbo), powerful, direct response with maximum tone, and a differentiated, open, incredibly rich sound with complex overtones and warm basses that complement the chorus effect of the twelve strings perfectly. The guitar is extremely versatile and delivers warm, gut-warming pleasure from the very first strum.
A sound sample of the model can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.
In terms of playability, a medium “C”-shaped neck profile, a wide 47.6mm TUSQ nut, and a low string action ensure a surprisingly easy-going playability.
Visually, the thin natural finish, which allows the grain of the tonewoods to shine through, is complemented by elegant black ebony elements on the fingerboard, bridge, headstock veneer, and bridge pins to create a harmonious overall look!
