Some guitars are simply instruments; others are works of art with a soul of their own. This 1990 Larrivée C-20 belongs firmly in the latter category. Built by hand as one of only about a dozen custom C-20 models ever made for The Guitar Gallerie in Spokane, Washington, it carries the hallmark tone, craftsmanship, and artistry that defined Jean Larrivée’s finest early work. The shop that commissioned it is long gone, but its legacy lives on in rare treasures like this one, complete with its custom signed label inside.

Condition & Repair Disclosure:
For a guitar I was so proud to own and care for with extreme diligence, it was a heartbreaking moment when my home’s furnace broke down, causing a sudden drop in temperature and resulting in a crack on the top side. The crack was immediately repaired by a highly reputable luthier, with receipts available. The repair is stable, professionally executed, and difficult to notice. While the crack has no effect on the guitar’s tone or playability, it will forever disappoint me that it happened to such a special instrument.
