The Bloated Irishman Spankenstein Stratocaster Set

This set is for those who are looking for a more modern Strat tone with more output than a standard vintage set. One of the common complaints about Stratocasters is that the bridge pickup can be a little thin and a tad too bright. When you add more winds to a pickup you not only increase the output, but you increase the mids, while at the same time, reduce some of the high end. I went through several prototypes before I settled on the combination for this set. I wanted to hit that sweet spot where you still retain the clarity and snap that you would expect from a Strat, but the overall tone is more rounded with a little more bottom end. I offer this set with an option baseplate for the bridge pickup. This will add even more low end and slightly increase the output.
