Made in Japan in 1985, the ST-335 was part of the original Contemporary series of guitars made "For the Metalist, By the Metalist" (according to their catalog).
Glossy black basswood body bolted to a C profile maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 628mm scale length, medium jumbo frets), it weighs 3.6kg's. Looks to be all original as pictured with the exception of some new knobs, the Dragstar humbuckers sound great and the Fender hardware keeps it tuned nicely.
Received a basic service prior to listing, the neck is nice and straight and plays super smooth, there's life left in the frets and they play well as they sit. Good cosmetic condition with wear as pictured and some surface blemishes to the thick red glossy finish.
