Harmony Rocket 1969 Parts Project

Harmony Rocket H56 I believe, based on the colour. Includes the parts shown. The stamp on the interior is S-69 which indicates 1969. The guitar came to me in this state ( I didn’t ‘harvest’ the electronics).

Body and neck are in very good condition. There is a slight bend to some of the tuners but they all turn correctly. a slight edge can be felt where the neck binding meets the neck profile, which may indicate slight shrinking of the fretboard.

Included parts are the bridge, the neck screws and grommets, and the pickguard and bracket. Mounting screws for the pickguard are in the guitar. The truss rod cover is missing one screw.

The neck is straight and the truss rod nut turns slightly in both directions with a 1/4” thinwall socket, but could probably use some lubrication. The nut appears non-original, or poorly applied at the factory.

I do not have the vibrato bar for the bridge. There are slight signs of stress on the top from the mounting screws for the vibrato, so I would be very cautious using the vibrato heavily, as it was not designed for that.
