Selling my dream guitar to buy a house!
Here is a *very* early production 1970's Fender Starcaster in a very rare white finish which has faded to a beautiful cream, similar to 70's Les Paul Customs. The Serial Number actually dates production to 1975, the year before it was officially released, making this one of the earliest made original Starcasters on the market.
This guitar is all original except for the placement of the strap button which was moved behind the heel of the neck for better balancing.
Plays like a dream, sounds like one too. The hollow nature and the CuNiFe Wide Range Humbuckers give it a tonal quality almost like that of a Gretsch.
For obvious reasons I would prefer to meet up locally however if you require it shipped, we can figure out insurance and use your courier of choice.
