A new flagship model, the FS9R, has been added to the Yamaha FS series, which was released in 1966 and has a long history.

The top is made of Adirondack spruce, the back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, the neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of ebony.

This is a concert-sized, all-solid, handmade model made in Japan with a slightly smaller original shape.

The Adirondack spruce top has tapered edges, which increases the structural strength and allows the body to vibrate more effectively.

This contributes to both the power and delicacy of the sound.

The Indian rosewood back and sides are made of fine, straight-grained material, making this a high-quality wood material worthy of a top-of-the-line model.

Thick bass and brilliant treble.

The sound spread and clarity unique to rosewood fit the Japanese heart, and the Yamaha sound has a nostalgic feel to it.

The sound of the FS series, which has been loved by many artists over time, is still passed down today.

It is particularly well suited to stroke and fingerstyle playing and singing, and produces a rich volume.

Finished with a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer finish, it is a luxurious instrument.

The neck heel is marked with the FS mark.

The pegs are Japanese-made GOTOH open-back tuners in cosmo black color.
