"Verity" Custom Telecaster / Barncaster from A Wee Black Dug Guitars - Natural, Figured Driftwood

"Verity" is a custom, handcrafted barncaster made from driftwood washed up on the shore here in Scotland. Absolutely unique, one-off driftwood barncaster - this one has been two years in the making. Started life as a piece of driftwood washed up on the beach here - looked like a really interesting piece of wood but was really badly damaged and had been savaged by woodworm at some point too. When the light hits it right you can see right into the heart of the guitar as ther are loads of resin fill in this (more than any other guitar I've made in fact). Lovely natural worn appearance with striking grain pattern and dramatic resin fills (with little sparkly pieces of bronze in the resin to catch the light too.) Hand-wound (Alnico V) pickups (1960's style) for a lovely bright, open sound - classic tele tones but with a little more grit and bite! Brushed-finish custom hardware. Also "Verity" has the prototype of my new patented Aerobridge - the only one in existence at this point (machined from a solid billet of stainless steel for extra sustain and bell-like tones). Roasted maple neck with med-jumbo frets. Complete with flight case.

You will never see another guitar like this one..!!
