This Oberheim SEM ONE VOICE was created by the late renowned synth tech Kevin Lightner (synthfool.com). I spoke to his widow and she remembers Kevin putting it together and said that he had named it 'Smedley'.
The SEM module in the first two photos is for reference only and is NOT INCLUDED.
The 5 octave keyboard is a vintage Pratt Read J-wire type (as used on the Oberheim Four Voice, but with an extra octave!) It has had new bushings installed at some point and feels great.
The whole thing is housed in a absolutely beautiful solid oak cabinet with matching lid. The photos do not do it justice. The wood is GORGEOUS.
I have included a legend image for the left side panel, but here's what's there:
- VCO 1/2 CV IN
- VCO 1 CV IN
- VCO 2 CV IN
- VCF CV IN
- VCA CV IN
- LFO SYNC IN
- GATE IN
- VCF AUDIO IN
- LFO OUT
- KEYBOARD CV OUT
- KEYBOARD GATE OUT
- NOISE OUT
- 1/4" AUDIO OUT
- KEYBOARD CV TO VCF POT
- LFO WAVEFORM ROTARY SWITCH (SINE/TRIANGLE/SQUARE)
- LFO SPEED SWITCH (HIGH/LOW)
- GLIDE POT
- VOLUME POT
- POWER SWITCH/LED
Gate output 13.7 Volts.
120 Volt AC external power supply included.
Again, the SEM IS NOT INCLUDED. You will need a tech to wire up your SEM. This unit is sold strictly as-is. You will need to provide your own SEM. No SEM and NO returns.
