1940s Oahu 27K Hawaiian Acoustic Lap Steel Sunburst
Super cool vintage slide acoustic!
Square neck, slotted headstock, riser nut, and a really awesome metal bridge.
Comes with the original Bull's Head Protex case. The case is dirty and the middle pocket isn't nailed in any more but it holds the guitar well and is a great bit of surviving history.
This guitar has been professionally set up and is ready to play! It currently has 12 gauge acoustic strings on it and is set up for open D.
This model went by many different names during the 1940s and could have been the 27k, 50k (without the body painted on binding), 100k, The King, Student Prince, and the Playmate.
The guitar is used and shows signs of it including nicks, dings, dents, scrapes, scratches, bumps, and bruises, but is in otherwise great shape! The headstock had a small crack in-between the side and open tuner slot but has been repaired. There are a few small micro cracks on the body, some of which have been repaired and some of which don't go all the way through the wood.
