KING SNAKE was established to convey the good old wild and rugged sound before the birth of solid electric guitars.
The Curtis is made of 3-ply plywood with maple, spruce, and maple for the top and back of the body.
The internal block, named Detroit One Block, is 80 mm wide, 70 mm long, and 15 mm thick spruce, and is placed on the back of the bridge.
The unique sustain, which cannot be obtained with a normal full acoustic, and the waist strength of the sound with a good comp feeling have been increased, and can be fully handled even when distorted to a crunchy setting.

Two original P-90 type "TB-1" pickups are installed.
The pickups are based on vintage P-90s and arranged to suit the position.
The neck pickup is hand-wired with loose tension and fewer wire turns to prevent the bass from becoming too boomy.

The bridge pickup is an Alnico 4 with a slightly higher number of wire turns and looser tension than the neck pickup.
The bridge pickup is an Alnico 4 with a slightly higher number of wire turns than the neck pickup, and is wound with a looser tension to give a sharp yet powerful mid and low tone.
Both pickups are wax-potted to prevent feedback.

The bridge has been changed by the previous owner for more accurate octave adjustment.
There are some signs of use, but there is no major damage and it maintains a clean appearance.

It has been checked and overall adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.
