La cellule phono Ortofon Cadenza Blue est équipée d'un générateur de technologie MC. La bobine mobile de cette cellule est fabriquée en argent pur à 99,9999 % (6N) et plaqué or, garantissant une conductivité optimale. L'enroulement des spires a été minutieusement optimisé pour assurer une excellente séparation des canaux. Les aimants utilisés sont en néodyme, un matériau couramment utilisé en hi-fi en raison du puissant champ magnétique qu'il offre. Cadenza, derived from the Italian word "cadenza", refers to a segment of a musical performance, usually a concert, where the orchestra stops playing, allowing the soloist to play independently, unconstrained by a strict rhythmic pattern.
This solo passage, known as a cadenza, generally features the most ornate and virtuoso passage performed by the solo instrument throughout the composition. At the end of the cadenza, the orchestra resumes its presence, often bringing the movement to its climax.
The Ortofon Cadenza Blue phono cartridge, part of the prestigious Ortofon Cadenza range, represents a high-end moving coil (MC) model. It differs from the Ortofon Cadenza Red phono cartridge by the use of a ruby cantilever and an FG70 diamond (Fritz Gyger).
To create this exceptional range, the Danish manufacturer took inspiration from its famous Ortofon Kontrapunkt range, thus preserving the same distinctive lines and careful design for which the manufacturer is renowned. The Ortofon Cadenza range includes the Ortofon MC Cadenza Red, Ortofon MC Cadenza Bronze, Ortofon MC Cadenza Black models as well as a version intended for playing monophonic records: Ortofon Candenza Mono.
The Ortofon Cadenza Blue phono cartridge is equipped with an MC technology generator. The voice coil of this cell is made of 99.9999% pure silver (6N) and gold plated, ensuring optimal conductivity. The winding of the turns has been carefully optimized to ensure excellent channel separation. The magnets used are neodymium, a material commonly used in hi-fi due to the powerful magnetic field it offers. The micro-variations of the grooves are captured by a tip finely cut from a piece of diamond, with a Fritz Gyger (FG) 70 profile fixed on a ruby cantilever, offering precise tracking of the grooves and detailed restitution. The chassis is made from an alloy of stainless steel and aluminum, two robust materials that help reduce resonance.
