This CopperSound Pedals DIY Cir-Kit Components and Breadboard Bundle is the perfect way to get started building guitar pedals, containing everything you need to finish your first project.
The bundle contains a Cir-Kit Components Bag for a specific pedal, a 9 V power supply (UK plug) and a small or mini size (mini fuzz and mini boost) CopperSound Pedals DIY Breadboard which has been specifically designed for prototyping guitar pedals and give you a convenient platform to quickly and easily develop your circuit. CopperSound Pedals have great, simple to follow step by step build guides for each pedal type available on their website.
The breadboard features integrated input and output jacks for the audio signal, centre negative power jack, on/off bypass switch and status LED and there are onboard pin headers that allow you to easily connect the breadboard bus strips/rails to power and the terminal strips to the signal jacks. Each section of the breadboard has five rows of tie points (the holes where the component is inserted) either side of the IC DIP Chip channel labelled a-e and f-j and the connected columns are numbered. The small size breadboard has a 'courtesy ground' pad where you can place the negative tip of a multimeter and then use the positive tip to check the voltage at any point in the circuit and also has mounting holes in the corners for a convenient method of securing the board to a larger work surface if required.
Please note the included Cir-Kit Components Bag is designed for use with the included breadboard (that has integrated jacks etc.) so these kits do not come with any standalone jacks or footswitch, if once you have finished building the pedal on the breadboard you wanted to then wire it into a pedal enclosure you will then also need these components. Coppersound Pedals offer a free full catalogue of guides and videos on their website to help you design, learn and create. Specific links can be found on the packaging of each product.
