The Classic Bass models, newly developed in 2007, offer shaped tops with exotic wood looks on a completely redesigned mahogany body. An extreme cutaway makes it easy to reach all 24 frets, and the Buzz Feiten tuning system ensures perfect tuning. The Buzz Feiten tuning system is a tempered tuning type that uses a compensating bridge and saddle combination to correct the typical intonation problems of western tuning. Fans of this system include Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Liona Boyd and Andy Summers.
