The Well-Hung Hootenanny Hero - "brat" special edition is a beautifully vintage styled sliding buckle strap. HOWEVER... bear in mind you won't often see this style of strap built in 3" wide, and PADDED too!

For the main body I utilized a leatherette material found recently which inspired me to build this. It's probably not the exact correct lime green 'brat' should be, but to my eye it's even louder, and rather more annoying. I offer it could be even an even more bratty aesthetic that what inspired them. There is only 4. Limited edition.

It's a colour you likely won't use to match a guitar. This baby is fully on point to match your attitude. It's fleek AF, dripping with high key riz, no cap, as the kids say, Perhaps you want to surf the leading edge of pop culture to wear this. Perhaps, like the kids wear Sabbath and Maiden shirts around, you want to wear this ironically. Seeing a greybeard with this on stage is sure to drive the gen z folks nuts. That's your call. I do believe the idea, the doctrine of "brat" is fully one which defies age, race or sex and probably time as well. Wearing something like this proclaims who you are, perhaps as a warning, perhaps as a magnet to attract all the wrong kinds of people, your people. LOL!

The lettering is in black leather, sticks up in a 3D way, securely sewn to the top of the strap.

This Hootenanny Hero goes is about 45" and it reaches all the way to about 60" Most guitarits fall in the 45"-55" zone. Extra length in a strap does provide all kinds of extra stage move options and cool cred.

The main material is not real leather, it's an upholstery vinyl with a very small bubbly grain pattern in it, almost like stingray. Has the look and feel of a softer, light garment leather. I would say this material would normally be used in medium duty upholstery etc, so it'll take a beating. Understand Well-Hung Hootenanny Hero sliding buckle style are WAY different than most in this style. Mine feature ROLLED edges, not chop-offs like most others out there, so they don't bite into your neck like all those with have hard cut-off edges. It's quite a bit of extra work and materials to do this, but worth it.

3 things rare, or impossible to find in a typical hootanny style sliding tri-buckle strap:

1. Both 3" wide AND nicely padded 👍 2. Soft rolled-over edge 👍 3. Leather-ish look & feel. 👍

A few things you will notice about this one if you grab one up...

No rivets near the ends, and many of them also have clunky metal loops and thin, weak leather for attachment to your guitar on both ends. Not a Well-Hung strap! Sturdy leather on the nose and tail for security and trustiness. Works and feels much like a typical hootenanny type sliding buckle strap, but FAR more comfortable. This is partly because of foam padding I put in the shoulder area, and also due to the fact it has that 3" wide footprint, greatly spreading guitar weight out over a much larger surface area.

Truth to tell, I still own a few typical 2" wide typical sliding buckle type straps, but can't use them anymore, after ruining myself with all my far more comfortable strap makings ten years ago. I have a hard time understanding how so many guitarists continue to use cheap starter pack type straps long into their careers, they're just guitarist torture devices to me. I guess if you never try anything else, you'll never experience the difference. Are you one of those types and are wondering? Give me a shot, and thank me later.

Also know I use extremely heavy duty ABS loop and sliding buckle I had molded special for me. I tried others on the market, but they just seemed way to sketch, before I sourced my own. Again, for guitar security, the nose and tail portions that attach to your instrument are REAL genuine harness quality leather, and it's all assembled with high quality thread and for robustiness and trustiness. The back end is also my own design which wraps over the back edge of your guitar excellently, so no extra strap bits hang around getting in the way and looking silly. I am happy to size these for you so it's ready right out of the box, measure your favourite current pin-to-pin and send me your number.

Hootenanny Hero - "brat" special edition is nicely padded, and does not look blumpy, like a batman utility wookie ammo belt, or prosthetic old-man-orthopedic-rest-home-harnessy. Bottom line, this strap will outlast you, and you absolutely won't believe how comfortable a hootenanny style strap can be until you sling your guitar on one for an extended period of time. A comfort strap does not have to look like one, and you may just forget it's there until someone asks you about it.

My 'merican brothers, your shipping cost is higher. I've struggled for months on how to re-open my store for your market. Only way is add the new US-imposed duty to your shipping, plus a small fee to facilitate pre-payment via the Zonos app before I am allowed to ship. Here's how it goes down: after I send your package, Reverb pays me, but I cannot ship 'til your duties are pre-paid. I've added this extra cost to the shipping price to cover paying YOUR duty in advance. It’s the only way I can ship. It's NOT extra profit for me, but a carefully-calculated expense. Your government chose to levies tariffs and duty as a sort of import tax, so they’re on you. I’ve made NO additional price increases on my goods, fair value remains. My sincere hope is no extra surprises. Zonos estimates all duty costs, so there *may* be small discrepancies, but they assure shippers it’s rare. This is all new to me. If your landed costs end up more than $10 US over what you paid and you paid FULL asking price, (not an offer), please contact me with details and receipts. Again, please know this tariff situation is as frustrating for me as it may be for you! Thank you for understanding. Above all, I just want to make sure my customers' guitars are Well-Hung!I don't quibble, I rounded prices for tariffs and shipping up or down to the nearest dollar.
