Super Rare Star Instruments Synare 2 Analog Percussion Synthesizer with Digital Sequencer
This was the flagship synare model at the time of its release and retailed for $1,395. It features fully analog VCO (variable-width pulse and ramp waves + sub octave, pink and white noise) - VCF (24db, assignable to LFO and ENV) - VCA (two-stage envelope generator)- LFO (tri, pulse and ramp waves) - 125-step sequencer - 12 trigger pads (tuned chromatically in half-steps)
This unit has been tested and functions well. The pads all work well, faders are all operational, and the sequencer is working. Faders have been cleaned however some are still a little stiff. Fader caps are also extremely fragile and some have broken off. Aside from this, unit is fairly clean and in good working condition.
Included with the Synare 2 is a mounting bracket with screws and the original owners manual.
This is an extremely rare unit as under 100 were made between 1976-82. Ideal for the collector or serious studio. If interested please make us an offer!
