Zepher ZMT-178 (Tune, Deviser, Bacchus) Metal Top 2001 Zemaitis Replica

This is an exquisite 2001 Zepher ZMT-178, (aka Tune, Deviser, Bacchus) Japanese Replica of a Zemaitis Metal Top. Extremely rare model. The guitar has no branding on it except "Custom Guitar." It is a beautifully crafted replica of the super expensive handmade guitars of Tony Zemaitis. His clients included Keith Richards, Ron Wood, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, and Ronnie Lane to name a few. This guitar feels great, looks great, and sounds great. Fantastic tone and sustain. Solid mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fretboard. There is practically next to no fret wear. This guitar has been used sparingly in my home studio since I acquired it in the early 2000s. It has been residing in its case most of the time and never gigged out. Again, the guitar is super clean with no dings, digs, or scratches to speak of. All electrical and mechanical components are in excellent working condition. The guitar weighs in at 7 pounds, 14.6 ounces. Truly fun to play. I am including a practically new Gator hardshell case (see photos). This guitar can give you the look and feel of a real Zemaitis costing thousands of dollars more without breaking the bank. While it is not a real Zemaitis, it is by no means a cheap copy. It is a superbly crafted instrument in its own right. Thanks for looking.
