Labelled Jacques Favino, 1984, this 'transition period' guitar is likely a collaboration between father Jacques and son Jean Pierre. Jacques started to withdrew from the business around 1979, but kept working until 1984.

The top has a cedar-like look, however, it is certainly not cedar but beautifully aged spruce. The back and sides are made of impressing looking laminated Brazilian rosewood. This guitar has got it all, vintage mojo not only by its looks but also by tone and presence.

The guitar is beautiful from every angle and has everything you want in a Favino, attack, punch, clearness and brightness. And more, with the 'bark' typical of a gypsy guitar, and the crispness of a matured instrument.

It has some playwear, dings, and scratches, but it is still in good condition. The top has a repaired center seam and two cracks on each side of the fretboard. Includes a newer hardshell case.
