B.C.Rich ‘Avenge Son Of The Beast’ Onyx with Red Bevels 2013 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a B.C.Rich ‘Avenge Son Of The Beast’ in Onyx with red bevels finish. Made in China in 2013, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard with Red Beast Wing inlays. This guitar is fitted with Black hardware including a string-through bridge and B.C.Rich sealed tuning machines. The pickup installed is a B.C.Rich BDSM humbucker which is wired to a master volume control. 

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a thin profile offering a razor sharp and ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck, perfect for fast lead lines and solos. This is enhanced by the Rosewood fingerboard, which with its 12" radius delivers a tailored playing experience in any position. Chord playing is comfortable in the lower register, whilst the higher register is well suited to lead playing and string bending. The Jumbo frets provide a rock solid playing surface, whilst also improving vibrato and string bending feel. 

The B.C.Rich ‘BDSM’ humbucker installed in this guitar produces a thick and full-bodied tone, perfect for more distortion-heavy styles of music with a high output that saturates into a searing distortion when cranking the grain. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your volume level, meaning you can focus on your playing, a great ‘plug in and play’ instrument.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. There is consistent light scratching of the finish across the front face of the headstock. The rear face of the headstock presents a small indentation at the bass side edge above the D string machine head. 

Neck: Overall very good condition. Any markings on the rear of the neck are difficult to discern. Light scratching is present to the 1st fret of the fingerboard, this can not be felt under the fingers. The 24th fret presents some imperfections to the inlay, this can not be felt under the fingers.

Body: Overall very good condition. Both the front and rear face of the body present scratches visible under direct light with some light scratching on the rear of the body. Above the volume knob on the front face a small indentation is present, this does not break through the finish.

Condition of Frets: 

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. 

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional and can be adjusted. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear. The original low E tuning machine did not function and has been replaced.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
