1985 Fender TL-555 Boxer Series Japan HH Telecaster (Black)

The TL-555 features dual Fender Dragster humbuckers and the Fender Blade Shooter locking tremolo, this is a black on black machine that showed what a "modern" guitar design looked like in the mid 1980's. These were by no means a cheap guitar, using an alder body, rosewood fingerboard and a one piece black maple neck.

These telecasters are a very rare product from the Fender C Series and don't come up often at all! A great vintage guitar with a "modern" style.

Cosmetic:
Plenty of bumps and bruises but has been recently set up and plays nicely. Very difficult to photograph with the glossy black finish..

Neck/Frets:
Plenty of fret life left and neck is nice and straight.

Electronics:
Dual Fender Dragster humbuckers, three-way selector, tone boost switch and master volume and tone (all original).

Accessories:
None.
