Replacement Transparent (Clear) 3 ply Scratch Plate PIckguard for IBANEZ JEM or RG series guitars. Designed as a replacement for Japanese made Ibanez guitars.

These Scratch Plates are made from a strong but lightweight Acetate. Being light weight it does not add any weight to your guitar nor will it mark the guitar bodies paint finish.

Due the many variations of the RG guitars and countries of manufacture WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND trying our 'free paper template' before you buy. Please email to request one, this can be posted or emailed back as a PDF. Simply cut it out and compare to your existing scratch plate for fit and screw hole alignment.

Although it may fit many guitars one or two screw holes may be have been moved by various manufacturers as this is a notoriously hard scratch plate to get to fit. Look for the pickup spacing, and the distance between pickups also as this maybe be an issue.

When fitting ANY after-market Scratch plate you may need to make some small adjustments, filing and positioning to get the best fit on your guitar.

The photo shows the Scratch Plates with the protective film covering in place and this should be removed after installation.
