What can I say? If you have not played a Brazilian Rosewood Guitar than you are mising out on one of playings greatest experiences. It provides a clear, crisp, ringing tone with a complex overtones that is unlike any other guitar wood. On acoustic flat-top guitars, Brazilian rosewood is the epitome of tonewood for the back and sides.It has long been used in many of the best vintage acoustic and electric guitars.The Martin D-45 comes to mind.You have to play it to truly appreciate it.

The guitar is 5 years old.It was custom built based on an old Larrivee I owned.It has a 1 & 3/4 in nut width.The body is 19 3/4 long,12 1/4 deep (Upper Bout) 19 3/4 deep (Lower Bout) and has a depth tapering from 4 5/8 deep (Lower Bout) to 4 2/8 deep (Upper Bout).Scale length is 25 1/2.The neck is full but fast.

This guitar features 25 year old Brazillian Rosewood back and sides combined with  select one piece Sitka Spruce top and ebony bridge,pegs and fretboard.Grover style tuning pegs.It produces warmth,depth and complexity of tone that can be obtained only by Brazillian Rosewood and solid Sitka Spruce.Oranate Celtic Cross silver/abalone Inlay on Headstock and around the Soundhole.Venetian Cutaway, Martin Scale length.Fishman Ellipse Matrix Blend electronics combining a mix of under saddle piezo pickup and flexible soundhole gooseneck microphone.
