Beautiful Rare American 1997 Fender Telecaster Plus V2 Deluxe w/ TKL Hardshell Case, made in USA. This extraordinary Tele is in excellent condition with upgraded pickups and electronics with a Lollar a Imperial humbucker in the neck position and a B.S. Tele Bridge pickup at bridge with upgraded electronics/oil can cap, control plate and black pickguard. Original electronics, pickups and pickguard are included. Sounds incredible and was recently set up with 9.5s with great action and intonation. Medium C-profile neck is on the slim side for a Tele and super comfortable, medium jumbo frets in great shape. Bound top with ash veneer on top and back opver alder body with deep Stratocaster style belly cut on back for comfort. Great resonance, playability and fantastic sounding pickups make this an amazing Telecaster.
Original Tri-burst finish is in great shape with the darker part of the burst along the edges have a metallic rootbeer/bourbon finish, as it blends in. Very comfortable weight at just over 8 lbs. Switch is a little noisy when switching, but works fine. Original electronics, 3 lace Sensor pickups, controls/plate and pearloid pickguard are included with sale. This was purchased with the Lollar setup and I've never used the original pickups, but assume they work fine and sound great. Looks to be complete with original wiring and control plate with mini-switch and stacked tone pot, only thing I don't see are the pickup mounting screws. Happy to take/send additional pics of the guitar and/or original parts, if needed. Has minor dings and scratches with no chips or issues and the black pickguard is slightly warped and has play wear and minor scratches. Plays fantastic with great action and incredible tone, great for that Tele twang, rock, jazz or blues.
Nice heavy duty TKL hardshell case is included, good shape with clean interior with some scuffs and minor wear on the exterior. Packed and shipped quickly with experience you can trust, thanks for looking!
