The main pivot shaft is made of centerless ground 1/2' diameter stainless steel, precision seated though nylon bushings at both ends, and the deck mat is made of non-slip material that is impervious to oil and alcohol. The Kevlar cable transmits pedal travel to the controls and is attached by stainless steel springs for smooth and quiet operation.
