1967 Hagstrom H-8, F-800, eight-string bass...first year of production: Serial No. 723188...all original. On/Off, pickup selector and tone switches all work cleanly as well as the volume control. Has a new set of D'Addario strings. There are a few very minor nicks on the body and headstock, mainly on the edges, so minor that they were difficult to photograph. There is some belt rash on the back in one spot that shows in a photo.
Electronics are fully functional. No fret wear is noticeable. All tuners work well. The plug in the hole in the back is intact. The letter on the labels for the switches and volume knob are intact and clear. The "MADE IN SWEDEN" decal is intact on the back of the headstock.
Included is the original Hagstrom chipboard case in excellent condition. Hinges, latches and handle work, and the interior and exterior are in great condition including the storage compartment lid.
"Very Good" sneaking up on "Excellent"... beautiful and ready to play.
