Vintage RMS Phaser Made in Japan VERY rare

The effect for sale is an item for the early Japan made pedals collectors. Extremely rare - in fact, I've not seen another posted anywhere on the web, compact phaser that can trick you into thinking you're looking at an early MXR Distortion+ clone.

Pedal is fully functional with a wide array of phasey tones - resonance can give you everything from a subtle Phase 45 kind of vibe up to some intense, wide sweeps. Odd kind of enclosure stamped with "JAPAN" on the back - never seen one like it with screw positioning and elongated form, weird build with all components soldered to the PCB including the switch and jacks (board is actually bent inside to accomodate for it all, no idea how it lasted this long cause it sure looks like the pedal was made in late 70s / early 80s.

Condition wise it works much better than it looks - actually works perfectly fine after resoldering one of the pots and basic pot / jack cleanup. All parts are original, resonance pot leads were broken when I got it, easy fix.

It's weird, vintage, it's very rare, it was made in Japan AND it actually works :) Was it made for some store like Nadine's products? Was it some odd attempt at reusing some MXR clone boxes and parts? If you know please message me, I'd love to get some information on it.
