Hondo II Professional Longhorn Bass. Walnut. (Danelectro type). HP-1181

Early 1980s Hondo longhorn bass made in Korea. Serial Number 1020465. All original, no mods, no repairs.

Hondo got the license for the danelectro longhorn in the late 70's and early 80's and put a few unique twists in the mix.

• Walnut body with a very cool natural transparent finish.
• Rosewood fretboard with a full 34" scale length, and 24 easily accessible frets, neck D profile, fingerboard radius 10.00.
• P-bass style pickup with series/ parallel switch, volume and tone knob,
• One DiMarzio Model P bass pickup, 1 Vol, 1 Tone.
• Phase In/Out mini-switch (....no sense!!)
• Pickup with low output. I recommend you to update for a new ones.
• Everything works EXCEPT switch. I don't know what is for...phase in/out...really?
• Electronics need to check due pickup ouput and switch.
• Brass nut and brass bridge
• Input jack cup is loose from the body. Very easy to fix.
• Weight 3.6 kilos

Good original condition with a straight neck and good frets. Very cool collectible bass that plays really well and sounds great. Overall the bass guitar is in great shape. Some nicks on the back of the body. The bass guitar has minor superficial dings, scratches, wear and tear around various parts of the guitar, typical of a bass guitar of this age.
