BC Rich / Arion EMP-45 Effects Memory Programmer 1980s - Black

This is a vintage effects controller board with 5 programmable loops for different effects combinations. It also can power the effects directly and you can set the overall master gain level.

These were made under the BC Rich name as well as Arion, not sure which is the main brand/manufacturer and which is the re-label.

This one is very clean and has 2 added bonuses:

• it still has the 6-page instruction manual which you never see anymore
• I have sourced a fresh battery and had it installed as the programs get lost when the battery drains. It takes a specific battery that gets soldered in. Should be good for many many years to come.

This is really useful for testing pedals or for a gigging musician who wants a practical small board and needs to turn on many pedals at a touch rather than tap dancing. If you like, you can also chain more than one pedal in each loop and use more than 5 effects at a time.
