A damn fine working example from 1960's Japan. The Hi-Mike line was distributed worldwide under Teisco, Lafayette, and other brand names. The UDM 1 is is dynamic cardioid in stylized deco housing with threaded mount concealed in base and separate 5 pin adapter to XLR. Variable impedance from Hi-Z 50k to Low 600ohm.
The Colonel has brought back various Hi-Mike products over the years and says he's always preferred this model, which he regularly employs for tracking guitar cabs and other midrange sources, or to add mid colors to room mics on nearly any source.
